Cookie policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses and how you can control them, in accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Act 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and with data protection legislation.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It serves to remember information about that visit: from something as simple as the language you chose, to data that makes it possible to recognise a visitor across different pages or sessions. Other technologies serve the same function, such as the browser’s local storage, and what is explained here applies to them too.
Cookies are usually classified according to who manages them (first-party or third-party), how long they last (session or persistent) and what they are for (technical, preference, analytics or advertising). Technical cookies are those strictly necessary for the site to work and are exempt from consent; the rest can only be installed if you authorise them.
Which cookies this site uses
This site does not use analytics, advertising, personalisation or social media cookies. There are no audience measurement tools, no advertising pixels, and no embedded third-party content that could track you.
The only cookie that may end up being installed in your browser as a visitor is the one that records your response to the cookie notice. While you choose nothing, none is installed.
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cookie_notice_accepted | First-party | To remember whether you accepted or rejected the use of cookies, so you are not asked again on every visit. | 1 year if accepted; 1 month if rejected | Technical |
Site administration cookies
If someone logs in to the administration dashboard — something reserved for whoever manages the site — WordPress installs strictly technical cookies to keep that session open and to remember panel preferences, with names beginning with wordpress_, wordpress_logged_in_ and wp-settings-. They are exempt from consent under article 22.2 LSSI-CE and have no effect whatsoever on someone who is only visiting the site.
Third-party content and links
This site does not embed content from other platforms. The studio map, the Instagram profile and the WhatsApp contact are links that open outside these pages: until you click one of them, nothing is loaded from those services and no information is shared with them.
Once you open one of those links, you are on the third party’s site, which will apply its own cookies and its own policies. We recommend reading them if that processing concerns you.
If anything changes in future
The cookie notice is in place in case analytics tools or third-party services are added later on. If that happens, those cookies will not be activated until you authorise them, this page will be updated with the details of each one, and consent will be requested again.
How to change your decision
You can review or change your choice at any time from the “Preferences” link that appears in the footer of every page once you have responded to the notice. Clicking it brings the notice back, so you can accept or reject again.
How to manage cookies from your browser
Regardless of this site, your browser lets you review, block or delete the cookies it has stored. The option is usually found in the privacy section of the settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. Help at support.google.com/chrome.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Help at support.mozilla.org.
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security. Help at support.apple.com.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions. Help at support.microsoft.com.
Bear in mind that blocking all cookies may affect how other websites work. On this one, since there are no cookies beyond the notice’s own, you will not notice any difference.
Updates to this policy
This policy may be modified to reflect changes in legislation or new services added to the site. Any change will be published on this same page. For questions about the processing of your personal data you can read the privacy policy or write to info@augustocabreratattoo.com.
